Respect Dare Small Group
– Led by Nancy Alig (hybrid group, meets in TLC136 A&B in-person and on Zoom*)
We are a group of gals looking to become more godly mates to our husbands or significant others. We’ll be studying His Needs, Her Needs, which has topped the charts time and time again as the bestselling marriage book available. In this classic book, Dr. Willard F. Harley, Jr., identifies the 10 most vital needs of men and women and shows husbands and wives how to make their marriage sizzle by satisfying those needs in their spouses. He provides guidance for becoming irresistible to your spouse and for loving more creatively and sensitively, thereby eliminating the problems that often lead to conflict and even extramarital affairs. We will also be looking at a tiny book on prayer by John Wesley. So please come join us as we share our challenges and times of growth in marriage and other relationships and also share our lives together in Christ!
For: Women in committed relationships
*If wanting to join via Zoom, please contact the church office for that info.

Men’s Bible Study
– Led by Bob Homan and Steve Bowers (meets in TLC136C)
What is the Bible’s message? How does it all fit together? In what ways does it speak to men and women hungry for truth in the 21st century?
Through a mix of video learning, reading, and conversation, we’ll learn from Invitation as Dr. Brian Russell guides us through the big-picture story of Scripture. Come join our men’s Bible study and learn the overarching story of the Bible from Creation to New Creation in ten weeks!

Couples with Young Kids Small Group
– Led by Pastor Bryan Wisdom (STARTING NOVEMBER 3RD)
No time for yourself anymore (much less one another)? We get it. Potty-training woes? Join the club. Don’t remember the last time you got a full night’s sleep, and last night you also got the added bonus of a toddler’s foot in your face? Yep, that too. Let’s get together and talk. Drop your kids off in childcare and come join us!

For: Couples with young kids

Please email Pastor Bryan if you plan to join this group.

Single & Parenting Group
– Led by Teresa Roth (STARTING NOVEMBER 3RD)
If you’re a single parent, you’re probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit underappreciated. That’s why we’re starting a Single & Parenting group—to share tips and parenting wisdom that will help you find rest, hope and encouragement. Let’s talk real life. We can support each other. You don’t have to do life alone.

Grief Group
– Led by Henri Wesdorp and Barb Heeter (meets in E105)
Touchstones Grief Support: this 6-week group is for adults who have lost a loved one through death. It provides a safe and nurturing environment to explore your loss. We use short video segments, discussion, and prayer as our tools. We do ask that you register in advance by simply calling Henri Wesdorp (574-903-7481) or Barb Heeter (574-848-4531). In order to build an environment where we feel safe sharing deep feelings, we can’t add new members after the first week. This session runs from September 15th to October 20th.

Choir
– Led by Michelle Beyler (meets in Sanctuary)

A primary goal of chancel choir is to prepare weekly to lead worship at the 9:00 service. During this time together, we enjoy bonding through sharing the ups and downs of our faith journeys. It is a source of encouragement as we pray together and sing wonderful lyrics, enjoying many musical styles such as classic, gospel, modern ballads, and current choral composers. Don’t worry if you’ve not been in a choir for a while – you’ll be surrounded by people delighted to help you out! We invite you to join us!
For: Everyone
